Navarino Bay Resort is going to offer residents and guests a unique, world-class Greek golf experience deserving of its historical setting. Set to open in the Fall of 2008, Navarino Bay Resort in the southwest, Messinia region of the Peloponnese will be Greece's premier golf destination. The gently undulating topography featuring a river, olive trees, orange groves, and open, sandy plains combine to create a superb setting for golf.
Featuring two Greece golf courses, Navarino Bay and Navarino Dunes, Navarino Bay Resort will have separate clubhouse facilities approximately three miles apart. Both will offer residential real estate as well as a mix of detached/attached villas and hotels, all of which will have access to the Greek golf courses and Greek golf clubs. While both sites are situated on seafront property, boasting wonderful views in all directions, they are dramatically different in terrain and characteristics. The Navarino Bay golf course, to be designed by Robert T Jones II, will include a Kempinski and Banyontree hotel and is located on a bluff overlooking the bay on a rocky piece of property with un-compromised views of the sea and surrounding landscape. The Navarino Dunes golf course, to be designed by EGD and Bernhard Langer, will include two luxury hotels and sits on a gentle rolling hillside that slopes down to the Ionian Sea. Both facilities will have a golf academy featuring state-of-the-art teaching center.
