It is therefore Troon’s goal to provide a comprehensive benefits package that helps associates manage their healthcare and retirement needs in order to enhance their quality of life and provide peace of mind. 401(k) Retirement PlanTroon Golf offers all associates a 401(k) retirement savings plan that is managed by Fidelity. The plan offers a pre-tax salary deferral from 1% to 60%. The company will match $0.25/per dollar up to the first 5% of compensation deferred, and 100% vesting after 3 years of service. Eligibility requirement is first of the month following three months of continuous service. Healthcare BenefitsTroon Golf offers our full-time associates comprehensive, competitive Medical, Dental and Prescription Drug plans administered through United HealthCare, with a variety of options to choose from. Vision BenefitTroon Golf provides a supplemental vision plan through EyeMed Vision. The plan provides associates with services in over 2,000 locations, and offers an annual eye exam and well as savings on eye wear and contacts. Disability InsuranceTroon Golf offers full-time associates the opportunity to elect voluntary short term disability insurance through Lincoln Financial Group. Senior Managers are also provided long term disability insurance. Life InsuranceTroon Golf provides basic life and accidental death coverage for all full-time associates through Lincoln Financial Group. We also offer our associates the opportunity to elect Supplemental Life Insurance for themselves, their spouse and their dependents. Employee Assistance ProgramTroon Golf offers all associates an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) administered through Lincoln Financial Group. The EAP provides practical solutions, online resources advice and support for difficult issues such as emotional distress, substance abuse, divorce, etc. There is no cost for this benefit. Flexible Spending AccountsFlexible spending accounts can save associates money by allowing the associate to pay for health care and dependent day care expenses with pre-tax money versus after tax money.
Pre-paid Legal AssistancePre-paid legal assistance is a voluntary benefit administered through The Hyatt Premier Legal Plan that offers unlimited telephone advice and office appointments on virtually any personal legal matter (excluding business, illegal activity and employment) with a plan attorney of your choice. Paid Time OffAll regular, full-time associates are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO). PTO is intended to provide paid time off benefits for vacations and other absences due to illness or personal emergency. Educational AssistanceTroon Golf encourages associates to further their careers by developing their knowledge, skills and abilities through formal education and training. A regular, full time associate who has completed one full year of employment is eligible to participate in the tuition reimbursement program for coursework that is directly related to the job. Troon Golf will reimburse the associate for qualified tuition expenses (not including fees, books or supplies) up to a maximum of $1,000 per year contingent on budgetary approval.
